This clarification text has been prepared by the data controller Erçal Otomotiv İnşaat Taşıma Turizm Petrol San. Tic. LTD. ŞTİ. within the scope of Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to be Complied with in Fulfilling the Disclosure Obligation.

Image recording is performed by a total of 36 security cameras located in the service area of the entrance doors, building exterior, dining hall, cafeteria, visitor waiting room, car park, security booth, office rooms, spare parts rooms, showroom, tea shops, material rooms and floor corridors in order to ensure building security, and the recording process is supervised by the Information Technologies unit. As required by the relevant law; In order to protect the occupational health and safety of employees, to ensure general security in the workplace for both the employer and the employee and to monitor the functioning of the work performed, audio and video recordings are made in our service buildings. In addition, these records will be stored for the periods stipulated in the legal legislation and/or necessary for the purpose for which they are processed.

The personal data in question is processed automatically based on the legal reasons of “it is mandatory for the data controller to fulfill his/her legal obligation” and “data processing is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the relevant person” stated in Article 5 of the Law.

The personal data in question may be transferred to judicial authorities or relevant law enforcement forces for the resolution of legal disputes or upon request as required by the relevant legislation.
